What is Gun Milan?

The classical Vedic system for marriage compatibility. Eight koots are scored individually — Varna (1), Vashya (2), Tara (3), Yoni (4), Graha Maitri (5), Gana (6), Bhakoot (7) and Nadi (8) — totalling 36. A score of 18 or more is the traditional threshold for marriage.
Why do other sites give a different score?

Usually because they skip the Bhakoot and Nadi corrections, or read the Moon without a birth time. We compute each Moon and nakshatra properly and apply the classical Bhakoot and Nadi rules — which is why our score can differ, and be more accurate.
My score is below 18 — is the match off?

Not at all — it's a flag, not a sentence. Bhakoot and Nadi doshas have well-known cancellation rules, and many matches that look low are actually fine once those apply. The Premium Report walks through every one for your charts.
Do I need exact birth times?
